Textile installation for Lifestyle & Designcluster

I’ve had the pleasure of developing and producing this textile piece for Lifestyle & Designcluster / LifestyleHub in Aarhus.

The brief was to work with discarded textiles from &Tradition. I was drawn to a series of linen cushions and chose to transform them into something new – exploring repetition, texture, and the way light and shadow move across the surface.

The piece is created specifically for this wall and its proportions, as a soft and organic contrast to the raw concrete. As the space is used by many people, it was important for me to create something calm and understated – a quiet presence in the room, inspired by a more minimal, almost Japanese sense of balance.
