ITO

ITO is a collection of sculptural leather artworks exploring the tension between the visible and the unseen. Beneath the stretched leather lies a hidden structure—never fully revealed, only suggested through light, shadow and subtle lines.

Each piece is handcrafted from carefully selected leather stretched across a narrow frame. As daylight changes, the work reveals new shadows and perspectives, while the natural character of the leather makes every piece unique.

Designed to stand alone or as part of a larger composition, ITO brings a quiet sculptural presence to contemporary interiors.

Available in 40 × 10 cm and 80 × 12 cm.

Size 40 × 10 cm:
Avaliable with 1 line og 2–5 folds. Avaliable in leather and drumskin

Size 80 × 12 cm:
Avaliable with 1 line og 2 lines. Avaliable in leather

Custom commissions

ITO can be commissioned in selected colours and finishes. Together we discuss the desired expression, and I carefully select the leather for your piece.

As leather is a natural material, every hide behaves differently. Variations in tone, texture and tension are an essential part of the finished artwork and contribute to its unique character.

Leather samples are selected in dialogue with each client to ensure the right colour, texture and character for the artwork.

Leather samples and colour references can be discussed digitally before production begins.

Material

Every hide has its own grain, texture and natural tonal variation. Rather than concealing these characteristics, they become an essential part of the artwork, making every ITO unique. These characteristics are embraced as part of the artwork, making every ITO one of a kind.
